tayo sa sat...
I was just passing through, so I figured I'd leave my mark. Nice place you have here. I love the colors...
i'm bored, [and was sooo pissed earlier] so indulge me as i share my cellphone evolution. believe it or not, i've only had 5 cellphones! [can't say the same for others out there who had tons of cellphones already...
] here they are from the first one to the latest:

Motorola Teletac 250
this was my first ever cellphone. [circa '97-'98 methinks] it was a pre-"college graduation gift" from my folks. used Piltel/Mobiline [they were the initial network provider, along with Isla Telecom.] as my carrier. continued to use this when i landed my first job over at RX. the peeps over there laughed at me for a year [bastards~] for having this "pangkaskas ng yelo" P-O-S, which prompted me to buy my next phone...

"old-skool" Nokia 3210
this was my 2nd cellphone. [circa '99] it was my response for all those cruel jokes made about my first cellphone. during this time, the Globe/Smart war was raging, and i chose the "smart" side. i never looked back eversince. this was also the time when Nokia was starting to become the dominant brand, which prompted me to "jump the bandwagon" of the Nokia-craze. i had this phone for at least 2 years, [along with a few case-changes] 'til the X'mas party at work, where i traded this phone to my next one...

Siemens m35i
this was my 3rd cellphone. (circa 2001) [i still have this stowed in my cabinet, and it still works.] an officemate of mine won this at the company x'mas party. since i didn't win it, i offered to trade my phone + cash to have it. and the rest is history. i had this cellphone for 4 years. [oldest-to-date] proof of which would be that the yellow rubber thingy at the back faded. and i bought a class A battery 'coz the original one died of old age. LOLz~ i was supposed to retire this and get the latest Siemens model when i found out that they [Siemens] will no longer be making cellphones since the said division was acquired by BenQ. this, and some other circumstance, led me to buy my next phone...

Asus v66
this was my 4th cellphone. bought this back in '05, which translates to 3 years. before the first year ended, i had a problem with the said cellphone. [something to do with the mainboard w/c caused the usb connector to malfunction] it was repaired eventually, but took like a month! had to use the trusty Siemens m35i while it was out for repairs. they also provided a "loaner" phone, but it was meh~ now another problem recently arose with the charger, plus the longing to use a "touch" phone, prompted me to shelve my mini-itx torrent rig for the meantime to buy my next phone...

LG KU990 aka Viewty
2009 = new cellphone! 'nuff said!
i can only hope this one will last and overtake my trusty Siemens m35i as the oldest cellphone that i'll ever own... durability-wise? m35i pwnz all teh fones i ever had~
